"How often should I come?" It's one of the first questions new clients ask, and it's a great one. The honest answer is that the best routine is the one you'll actually stick to. But there are some simple guidelines to help you get the most from your classes.
Consistency beats intensity
Pilates works by building strength, control and body awareness gradually. Showing up regularly matters far more than pushing yourself to exhaustion once in a while.
Two classes every week for a month will do more for you than five classes in one week followed by three weeks off. Your body adapts to what you do repeatedly.
Two classes a week: a strong foundation
For most beginners, two classes a week is a great place to start. It's enough to learn the foundations, notice your strength building, and leave time to recover in between.
It also fits into a busy life. Many of our clients start here, then add a third class once the habit feels easy.
Three to four classes a week: noticeable change
If you want to feel stronger faster, three or four classes a week is where many people notice real change in their strength, posture and how they move through their day.
Mixing your classes helps here. Pair Reformer strength classes with a Mat or Restore and Flow class to balance hard work with mobility and recovery.
What about every day?
Some people love moving most days, and that's great, as long as you listen to your body. Mix in gentler classes like Restore and Flow, and take rest days when you need them. Feeling sore, flat or run-down is a sign to ease off.
How long until you notice results?
Everyone is different, but many people feel a change in how they move and feel within a few weeks of consistent classes. Changes in strength and posture tend to build over the following months.
That's exactly why we built the 28-Day Reset around attending 10 classes in 28 days. It's a realistic rhythm of two to three classes a week, and it's enough to build a routine and feel the difference.
